The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different operations. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, addiction treatment, emergency services, and our mobile operations. You will find our operations in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds as well as in the garrison area.

The psychiatric outpatient clinic consists of general psychiatric base teams and several subspecialized teams, including an eating disorder team. We are now looking for a substitute for our dietitian who is on parental leave. The position is located in our eating disorder team with assignments towards other outpatient teams and inpatient departments. Job Description

The tasks of the dietitian involve both independently and together with other practitioners in the team conducting treatment work for adults with eating disorder diagnoses. As a dietitian, you will assess energy and nutritional needs, work with meal order routines, and prescribe nutritional products as needed. In patient contacts, you will also work with psychoeducation and motivational work regarding diet and nutrition. You will collaborate with care neighbors and may also participate in referral visits and assessments of new patients.

Part of your role involves an internal consulting assignment towards the clinic's outpatient teams and inpatient departments. These assignments may involve patients with underweight related to another psychiatric diagnosis than eating disorders and usually concern shorter targeted interventions. Assignments towards the inpatient departments may also involve interventions regarding nutritional calculations for patients in need of nutritional intake via a tube. The eating disorder team regularly holds joint case supervision.

About You

We are looking for a licensed dietitian with an interest in eating disorder care and psychiatry. Previous experience and education in eating disorder care, psychiatry, and/or neuropsychiatry as well as experience in teamwork are meritorious.

As you will be communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. The work places high demands on personal maturity and flexibility.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team with other professionals. You are independent and secure and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Of course, you work based on science and proven experience. You also believe that well-being and the social work environment are important for the workplace. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
